Halston Heritage pleated silk-chiffon dress $435
Ever since last February when Meghan and I were gallivanting around NYC for Fashion Week, I’ve had my eye on a certain Halston Heritage dress (similar to the one SJP wore to The Met’s Costume Institute Gala back in May.) I saw it in the window of Scoop and literally fell in love. Perhaps because of its retro style or because it just looked like so much fun to dance in….
But here we are months later and though I don’t think I can justify the dress, it’s led me to want a skirt of a similar style for fall. I tried on the Vena Cava for Aqua accordion pleat skirt that was almost spot on, but at the last minute decided against it.

thanks, kelsey! As someone who used to wear a pleated uniform skirt in high school, I was careful with my selections – black definitely is my favorite color for the mini pleat
