Have you heard of Carven? If you haven’t, you’ll be hearing more about this label as it continues to sell out at Barneys New York and Net-A-Porter.
The French couture fashion house was established in 1945 and boasted a clientele list that included European royalty and movie stars. The label placed former Givenchy designer Guillaume Henry at the ready-to-wear front three seasons ago. The simplicity of the pieces is safe, but add cutouts and other details, and you’ve got a label on the rise, with fans like Alexa Chung, who hosted a presentation at Barneys New York recently.
