Over the years I’ve found that having a few go-to investment bags is practically a wardrobe essential. For a girl who carries her life in her bag, during the week you’ll find me toting around NYC a large carry-all (my Foley + Corinna and my Coach Chelsea being the most loved) and on the weekend I often downsize to a shoulder bag or cross-body bag. That being said, there are tons of gorgeous bags hitting store shelves now in beautiful neutrals, striking reds & forest greens and while I have my eye on plenty, these six bags are most definitely my favorites for the fall season…that will be here before we know it!
My favorite is the Phillip Lim – but I may have to save up for a little while for that one!

Excellent picks. I think my favorites are the Coach one and the Marc Jacobs one. Not sure I will be buying an investment bag for fall because I bought two this summer. But hopefully soon… fingers crossed.
