An ideal summer outfit in my mind? An easy dress with a denim jacket thrown over it. Now that summer is over and it finally feels like fall is officially here, I’m happily sentencing my favorite dresses to the back of my closet for lots of layering, a new coat (I’ll dream about these), and hopefully one of these lovelies.

I just love the simplicity of the striped dress and a denim jacket. Chic yet functional! I love layering pieces for fall, and that’s what I look forward to–scarves and boots!

So sad to see summer go, but I’m excited for my first fall in NYC (especially for the fall clothes
! I am determined to get a classic khaki trench coat this year. Every year, I say that I’m going to get one. And, every year, I end up buying other coats that strike my fancy while I’m impulse shopping. Any tips on finding one that’s does the trick but isn’t too expensive? Thanks! (P.S. I haven’t seen your lovely face in person in a while! Would love to get drinks soon!)
