This past weekend in New York we got a real touch of Fall. There was a chill in the air and it was the first day I felt constituted “jacket required.” It had me happy I had some decent 1:1 time curled up in my bed with my window open letting in the fall air and a night spent under the blankets on the couch with my roommates (balling our eyes out during “Fault in Our Stars” but that’s neither here nor there.)

I’ve written about fall investment pieces here, but I’m on the hunt for ways to both add to my closet with wardrobe investments (this jacket is topping my list) and ways to re-wear favorites (such as this Everlane sweatshirt I’m obsessed with). I’ve been turning to Pinterest for fall ensemble inspiration and also the new Emerson Fry Fall collection lookbook which is so.on.point. I’m loving lots of neutrals paired together and unexpected elements like leather leggings + converse kicks.
