love, lilly

It’s been ages since I attended as an event as I am still working on keeping my social calendar more trim, but last night I headed up Madison Avenue to Lilly Pulitzer for a night of sipping cocktails among fellow bloggers while hearing a bit more about the brand and checking out their too-cute and, of course, super bright and fun Summer 2012 collection.

More to come soon (including what pieces I’ll be sporting soon!), but I just had to share the most amazing gift the Lilly team sent us each home with…a custom print of ourselves as inspired by our blogs and drawn by Lilly Pulitzer’s Print Designer, Paige Smith…can you believe this!? Isn’t it so amazing? Everything from my beloved aviators, go-to side pony and the trusty stack of magazines…they totally nailed my look and I am so touched & honored to have the framed print a part of my home now.

Huge thanks to the LP team for a wonderful evening and the beautiful print I’ll always cherish. I can’t wait to show you my new pieces soon! xo

rebecca minkoff & rebecca taylor FW 2012

I’m still getting all caught up on looking at NYFW coverage from the past few days, but two of my favorites so far were from the Rebeccas, Minkoff and Taylor that is. They had great knits, edgy leather pieces, wonderful layers and great earth tones and neutrals all of which I’d pretty much wear. I was supposed to attend these two shows but sadly got caught up in work and wasn’t able to, but thank goodness for Style.com. Rebecca Minkoff’s shoes were of course really awesome and all the sweaters shown at Rebecca Taylor made me wish I was stocking my closet with them now.

Just a few of the looks I liked best above…what shows have been your favorites so far?

proenza schouler ss12 campaign

Proenza Schouler is a label I wish I could wear all the time. I love their graphic prints, use of color and edgy shapes and their SS12 campaign is not short of any of these things. How cool are these campaign images? I especially love the first and last looks.

p.s. shop Proenza Schouler here. And you can read my Designer Crush on them here.
