One of the parts about blogging I love is being exposed to killer new labels.  Toi et Moi is just that. It’s an Australian line with a French influence and a bit of California flair as far as I’m concerned… which means it’s just my style. This Garance dress is such a great mix of silk and neon and easily dressed up or down and, if you’re anything like me, you’ll take one look at their Summer 2011 lookbook and be lusting after the downtown cool-girl look embodied by their models and each of their pieces.

Alongside this color crush, I absolutely love all the sorbet colors that graced the runways this past Fashion Week. When I was little my favorite ice cream flavor was rainbow sherbet and so many pieces featured above take me back to summertime moments spent delighting in the colorful, cool treat atop a sugar cone.

While my mind is on to dressing for fall, these looks from Spring 2012 have me looking forward to the many seasons of New York I’ll experience first-hand living here now!

Whenever I get the invite to a Tibi show, I get giddy. I absolutely adore designer Amy Smilovic’s aesthetic and while the past few seasons she’s been less about party frocks and pretty details, the clothes still have a vibe of effortless style that allow for an air about them that leaves me just dying to wear them.

The SS12 collection was no exception presenting crisp lines, airy pleated dresses, wide-legged trousers, carefree tanks and perfectly tailored shorts and blazers. I attended the show with Laura and we both loved how simple, yet striking each of the looks were.

And to gush just a bit more about my love for this line, the Tibi site itself is too cute and full of style inspiration and I adore their blog. I loved their styling partnership with Olivia Palermo and have also been known to sport a few of their frocks (like here and here).

I began seeing stylestalker pieces on some favorite blogs of mine and when browsing their site found myself longing for more carefree & edgy pieces in my wardrobe. The Australian line was created by Sue-Ann San and Rachel Zeilic after scouring or ‘stylestalking’ their favorite resources for fashion and they wanted to create a line to satisfy personal cravings. I know, I know, that makes it sound so easy, but the result is a line that is as feminine as it is hip.

Pulled some of my favorite pieces above, but check out their lookbook for an array of shots that infuses a vibe of LA chic with bohemian bad ass.
