I’ve been eyeing the Ash Bea wedge sneakers for quite some time- they are such a great daytime staple and the brand is now offering them in pretty pastels just in time for all that city walking you’re sure to do around this time of year! I love how Alicia styled her bright Ash orange ones, too. A good alternative to the Isabel Marant ones, as well. (I do love a good sneak after all…)

The team at Frye was kind enough to send me the Frye boots I blogged about here and I’ve had such a great time styling them, particularly with dresses as the weather transitions. And they are SO comfortable! Wore the above look when my friend Megan was in town the other week and we headed over to visit the Brooklyn Flea to peek at all the pretty baubles and treat ourselves to Dough (o.m.g.).

3.1 Phillip Lim Cody Half D’Orsay shoe, $595
After seeing these 3.1 Phillip Lim shoes here and there on the internet, particularly on Jules & Liz, I become obsessed. I love how they are so simple, yet statement making. They seem to go with everything and are so perfect for year-round wear, don’t you agree? Not so surprising, however, given I pretty much love everything Phillip Lim does!
If anyone I know out there gets these shoes, I’ll be uber-jealous. #thatisall
With all the weird weather we’ve been having in New York, I have to say I’m kind of excited about some transitional dressing. A few layers here and there, printed denim with tanks and, most exciting for me: a flirty spring dress with short boots. When I saw the Frye Jayden Roper’s in Cognac, I swooned a bit and proceeded to think of all the ways I would style them with my arsenal of spring and summer dresses. (Also love these by Frye, also). I love how they are laid back by being distressed, but in the perfect rich shade of cognac that goes with so much in my closet.

If you’ve read this blog for a while, you know I’m not a huge flats girl, but every once in a while, I do need to switch up my boots & heels routine and I think these Ferragamo Varina Bow flats are just the trick to doing so. While at $400 they are not impulse-buying worthy, I think they are a worthy investment (after all, these were for me, too and they have proved one very good decision.) They are so classic that I love seeing them on women of all ages in fact. Plus, I feel like they are a bit of a New York City staple among women.

My first pair of Madison Harding’s (seen here and here) quickly became favorites of mine for this Fall.
Madison Harding‘s line infuses a cool edge with a vintage vibe and I’m especially in love with their booties. The name Madison Harding represents the designers’ roots, with one part of the designer duo growing up on Madison Avenue in New York City and the other on Harding Drive in New Jersey.
I think my first New York winter calls for the ‘Beck‘ in particular, don’t you?!
