Joe Fresh dress (a steal!)

As mentioned here and here, I’m super jazzed about the black and white trend running rampant right now. As a result, there’s so many cute frocks embracing this trend and here are a few favorites. And then there’s this one which I bought this morning! I am already excited to pair it with my beloved denim jacket.

Hope you all enjoyed the weekend and for those of you that celebrate it, had a lovely Easter. My weekend was spent in Washington D.C with one of my favorite people, my godmother. Now it’s back to the Monday grind! xx

Apologies for the radio silence of recent, all. I’ve been battling a sinus infection and working like crazy including all weekend in Miami (yesterday’s wake up call was for 3:30 a.m.!) so am attempting to get back into the groove now…thanks for sitting tight! Having been enjoying the warmer temps down South I am now itching for a proper vacation and the accompanying accessories! I’ve got a list of new spring/summer essentials I want to stock up on and they include a few of the above: some new sunnies, the perfect bikini for my upcoming trip to Mexico and a laid back baseball hat as an update to last year’s fedora craze.

What will you be buying for Spring?

1. Ray Ban sunglasses at J.Crew

2. Madewell baseball cap

3. Mara Hoffman bikini

4. Marc by Marc Jacobs tote (perfect for the beach or pool!)

Another new column I’m launching for WIT & Whimsy this year is Boutique Peek. Since I travel pretty frequently, and let’s be honest, may be a wee bit of a shopaholic, I am always finding new boutiques and mentally filing favorites.

One such is that of New York’s Otte. It’s such a gem and with several locations in Manhattan, you’re pretty much guaranteed to be nearby one whenever you need a good ol’ fashion fix in New York City. My favorite part about Otte is how well edited it is. It has all my favorite designers (rag + bone, 3.1 Phillip Lim, A.L.C.) but they also buy surprising pieces from the collections each season that you would rarely find anywhere else. They also have killer e-commerce, a great selection of lingerie and wonderful sale pieces. Not to mention it’s always such an enjoyable shopping experience with lovely sales staff and well-assembled outfits for inspiration.

In more exciting news, I’m thrilled to share that starting today (and for the next two weeks), I’ll be guest pinning for Otte. You can find my pins over yonder. We all know I love me some Pinterest. So come join me!
