Newcomer to the popular music scene is Esmee Denters and her single “Outta Here” is pure pop perfection. We LOVE it! You may have heard it on a recent episode of The City and radio stations are just now beginning to pick it up, but download it, dance around with your girlfriends (cocktails in hand, of course) and then come back here and tell us what you think!

October 21st, 2009 Meghan One of the holy grails of fashion, Gucci, has stepped into the Apple App store with the launch of their free App for the iPhone and iTouch.
Frida Giannini worked directly with Mark Ronson to create several of the app’s coolest features like Gucci Beats (where you can mix your own music tracks and share with friends) and personal playlists by Frida and Mark. The App also has a music stream channel, the Gucci Little Black Book city guide, along with all the latest fashion shows, look books and news from Gucci.

2.) And for what was our summer anthem “Good Girls Gone Bad” with Cobra Starship
Yesterday she released her new single featuring Robin Thicke – “Somebody to Love”. It’s a bit slower than we’d like but after listening to it a few times it’s growing on us.

Hands down, our favorite new artist of the Fall season is Owl City. We haphazardly came cross the title single “Fireflies” recently and swooned at the sound. While we originally thought the lead singer was Ben Gibbard of Deathcab for Cutie fame, we rightful admit we were wrong (though their voices are eerily similar).
Lead singer Adam Young’s newest album (and first official mainstream release) is creeping up the charts and definitely finding an audience. Check out the full album Ocean Eyes available on iTunes. While the lyrics are a bit quirky and leave you thinking what did he just say?, it’s perfect for those days when you want some mellow, slightly eclectic tunes to be the soundtrack to your day.

The rockin’ game we all know and love is coming to bars near you. What does this sound like to us? Some sort of genius. Rock Band vs. Trivia Nights at your local bar? We think you may agree that Rock Band may be more fun!
“Rock Band Bar Nights,” is giving interested bars a full band to let their cocktail sipping and beer binging customers the chance to take the stage and kick karaoke up a notch! The program will also feature other interactive elements.
Frankly, we cannot wait to see all of this unfold.
Would you throw a band together for this at your local watering hole?!
