Yesterday thanks to Nichelle Pace aka StyleMom, we came across Estée Lauder’s newest “social media” campaign/event and we have to say, it’s quite brilliant on their part. Their new event – with the slogan Your Beauty. Your Style. Your Profile – is crossing the USA with special makeover sessions at a handful of Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Saks Fifth Avenue stores that are  targeted to give you a makeover + photo to post to your social network profile, blog, Twitter, etc.

What we love most about this is its embracing social media by recognizing people are putting energy into the creation of a personal brand. Plus, we think it’s a great way to kickstart the Estée Lauder brand which until now has maintained an image of being for the older woman. Hot on the heels of the discontinuation of the Perscriptives brand, this is a step in the right direction…
