state of the blog

As some of you may have noticed, things have been quiet around these parts this week. To be completely, it’s been a rough start to the new year in many ways and I’ve been dealing with some personal stuff when it comes to my health that has been scary, interruptive and just downright hard. The upside? It’s made me take a step back from one hell of a hectic life in New York and re-prioritize. That being said, I’ve been posting a bit less frequently, going to bed earlier, lessening the items on my social calendar, and attempting to focus on my wellness. In the end, it’s probably best I did that anyways and I will be better soon hopefully, but figured I’d let you all in on a bit of what’s been going on.

All that being said, I head to LA this week for work and couldn’t be more excited for the bit of downtime that comes with it when I can squeeze in seeing friends & family. Happy Thursday, all and thanks for listening and reading as always!

happy new year

Leaving home is always bittersweet after the holidays, but today I’ll pack my things and this evening I head back to New York. But the start of a new year means new experiences & opportunities and for those, I could not be more excited. I’ve got my mind on resolving to work out more, do a juice cleanse for the first time, explore new parts of the city, take more photos, learn my new neighborhood front and back and soak up every wonderful moment along the year.

I hope you all had a beautiful New Year’s Eve and a wonderful holiday season. How did you celebrate?
