Back in December I was thrilled to have San Francisco magazine contact me to talk about being a fashion blogger in the Bay Area, what drives me to blog, the state of the media in regard to traditional vs. new and what spring 2011 trends I’m looking forward to for their March issue. I’ve long been a fan of shopbop. In fact, one of my very first posts was on this addictive site (back in January of 2007…holy cow!) and the site only seems to get better and better as each day goes by.
While in New York for Fashion Week I had the pleasure of meeting with two of the lovely gals over at Shopbop, Michelle and Amie and last Friday, October 1st, Shopbop was super sweet and profiled me for their #Follow Friday Twitter Crush series on their blog, shoptalk.
If you don’t read shopbop’s shoptalk blog, you must start as they are a company doing blogging well (it’s harder than you’d think to be a brand that blogs successfully). shoptalk is constantly updated and brings great pointers on designers you should check out, peeks at the trends to watch and, my personal favorite, their editors’ takes on what’s new, noteworthy and what they’ll personally be picking up to add to their wardrobes (those closets of which I’m insanely jealous of what they must look like! Swoon.)
