w&w gift guide 2010: 04: blogger picks

For the fourth installment of WIT & Whimsy’s 2010 Gift Guide, I wanted to share what is on the wish lists of some of my very favorite fellow fashion bloggers. Needless to say, all of their wish lists are dotted with chic, timeless and oh-so-stylish picks.

1. Iomoi Canvas & Leather tote, $300

“I adore personalized gifts, and this Parker bag from Iomoi is so chic and versatile!”

Blair, Atlantic-Pacific

2. P.S. I Made This book, $18.95

“Erica Domesek aka the craft queen, is always inspiring and makes me think outside the box! I hope to tackle more of her DIY projects in the coming year.”

Alicia, Cheetah is the New Black

3. Hunter High Gloss Rain Boot in Graphite Gray, $125

“Who says you can’t be fashionable when it’s gloomy out? Because I have to commute to work on the bus in San Francisco, this rain boot is something that isn’t just practical but fashionable as well. Love that there are different sock liners you can put in the boot as an added touch.”

Andrea, WIT & Whimsy

4. TopShop Limited Edition Fringe Dress, $600

“This baby is at the top of my wish list. It’s the perfect dress for New Years Eve.”

Liz, Late Afternoon

5. Jiffy Steamer, $150

“Steaming your clothes is a great (and green) alternative to dry cleaning as well as ironing. Since I hate going to the dry cleaners AND ironing, this Jiffy steamer is on top of my list. What can I say? Gotta love gadgets for Christmas”

Jennine, The Coveted

6. Louis Vuitton Monogram Map Square Scarf, $350

“This LV scarf is on my wish list. I collect maps and globes and this would definitely be the highlight of my collection. I would frame it and hang it in my living room.”

Anne, The Jet Set Girls

7. Be & D Starburst Hobo, $998

“This Be&D bag feels edgy and modern yet completely timeless. I love that it has jewelry woven right into the handle- and the buttery leather is so ridiculously soft, I almost want to use it as a pillow. And something tells me that with the lack of sleep I will be getting in 2011 with a new baby, I just may be trying to catch a few zzz’s however- and wherever- I can!”

Jenn, Jenn Falik

8. Donna Karan Pop Top Cashmere Gloves, $65

“I love checking my iPhone when I’m out walking my dog Lulu and with the cold weather I need these DKNY cashmere pop top glove that come with slits on the thumbs so I can still check email or send a text message.”

Natalie, Coquette

P.S. Have you entered the fabulous Benefit Cosmetics giveaway yet?!

w&w weekly roundup 11/19

Thanksgiving is right around the corner which means so is a lot of family time, baking, shopping and countless other holiday festivities. Bring.It.On! <3 this time of year!

Here’s your weekly dose of all things fresh and fun this week from some of our favorite bloggers.

Have a fabulous weekend!

Kelly Framel of The Glamourai announced the launch of her jewelry line this week and pieces are already selling out. They are very J.Crew-esque.

EverythingStyle dishes on being a part of the Coach Holiday Campaign. It features some of my very fav blogs and I adore Coach for all they are doing with the style bloggers.

This week was all about the buzz on Kate and Wills and let’s be honest, she’s hard to ignore. As I tweeted earlier this week, she’s so freaking pretty and stylish. Maybe that’s part of why both Karl Lagerfeld and Valentino commented on her this week? As seen on The Cut.

Coquette rounds up the prettiest palettes to give as gifts this holiday season. The Dior one is to die for.

Nicole of Nicole’s Guide to Style put together some super chic outfits all featuring a handbag designer, Melanie Auld, I had never heard of, but am so glad I know now because The Farrah bag is ridiculously stylish and versatile.

Alice + Olivia’s Spring 2011 lookbook is over on FabSugar and, par normale, I want it all. Especcccccially this dress.

9 to 5 Chic’s Anh (who I got to meet last night and she really is indeed, that chic), styled this pretty number that I so wish I could replicate from head to toe! I love the top & skirt combo so much. Maybe cause I also really love polka dots? (As witnessed here and here.)

w&w weekly roundup 11/12

What a week it was for me! Craziness at work and with the holidays approaching ever so quickly, there feels like an endless amount of things on my to-do list! Hope you’ve enjoyed the month’s posts so far though- they’ve all been so fun to do.

Anyhow, enough rambling from me. Here’s your weekly dose of all things fresh and fun this week from some of our favorite bloggers!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Alicia (who I finally got to meet in person this week and could not be sweeter, cuter or more classy) of Cheetah is the New Black, did a round up of pieces worthy of the holiday season and I’m in love with the sequin & feather skirt and Haute Hippie sequin mini (as seen here).

Shut Up, I Love that Shirt on You comments on the of life article in the New York Times this week on the new generation of fashion influencers. It’s a GREAT read.

Belle at Capitol Hill Style gives a mini rant on the ridiculousness that is silly bandz. Head her words.

November Style Icons from Chictopia have been revealed on their blog, CheriChictopia and they are indeed great inspirations for Fall fashion. (You can see all my Chictopia looks here, btw).

I love this look that Fashion Chalet posted. The trench + the fierce heels are a great pairing and worth trying to copycat (note to self!)

Another fashion blogger with a great outfit post this week was Lindsey of Saucy Glossie. Her look is the epitome of laid-back sophistication. (Her jeans remind me of those I wore here).

Coquette gives a sneak peek at a special exhibit happening at the Chanel boutique here in San Francisco. It oozes fashion. Loves it!
