A little while back I blogged about colored denim, but recently have been seeing more soft and subdued shades and therefore was inspired to do so again.  Additionally, Helena has inspired me to rock some more colorful denim- I don’t think there’s a better time to do so then in the midst of winter, agreed?!

With the temperatures dropping, I’ve got my eyes peeled for some chic winter weather accessories. fearing Embracing my first New York winter has me wanting some warm weather items that will keep me from being freezing, yet remain some style while bundled up. Especially these Michael Kors gloves, n’est pas?

currently craving: textured gray knits

Fall has officially hit New York and I spent all weekend in great big knit sweaters exploring across the city with my best friend Andrea who was in town. There’s something so perfect about this season when you’re dressed in a big, cozy sweater, laid-back denim and boots. And, after seeing the above image (via Natalie’s Pinterest), I got to dreaming about adding more textured gray knits to my wardrobe for my first New York City winter.

Here are some topping my wish list right now. Paired with skinny jeans and boots? Effortlessly chic.

p.s Whilst a lot of the above sweaters are a bit pricey, some of my favorites currently hanging in my closet actually come from Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and H&M in case you’re looking for more options at a lesser price point! xo
