w&w talks Fall fashion trends on Beso.com!

Here in San Francisco, we’re already experiencing Fall weather (ew) and won’t have summer like conditions till October (backwards..we know), but to get everyone ready for the fierce fashions that’ll be trendy this coming season when the leaves start to fall from the trees…check out my post on Fall 2010 fashion trends on Beso.com’s blog!

I’m going to try the thigh highs (comme ca as seen at Cynthia Steffe’s Fall 2010 show back in February I attended) - I never went to private school so the uniform thing doesn’t resonate me. I figure this is my chance, right?!

Take a peek behind Matthew Williamson’s Autumn/Winter 2010 Collection

Hot designer Matthew Williamson put together a great montage of a video from the unveiling of his Autumn / Winter 2010 collection at London Fashion Week last month and it takes you backstage to see the model prep as well as the runway full of garments that are in opulent jewel tones.

In the video you’ll see a pair of leather pants we’d kill for, statement coats with fabulous lapels, perfect pleating, rich fabrics and tons of texture. Matthew states he drew from a Spanish theme as inspiration and you can definitely see it in the colors and draping.

If you watch Gossip Girl you’ve seen Blair trotting in some of Matthew’s dresses this season and Leighton Meester isn’t the only one loving this British designer darling who is making a big splash on the fashion scene. Editors and celebs alike love the collections.

First Look: Daniel Vosovic’s Fall 2010 Collection

He may not have won his season of Project Runway, but he did take the prize in the All-Star season and for good reason. Daniel Vosovic had his time to shine today as he debuted his very first collection during Fashion Week and we loved what we saw.

Daniel debuted his pieces in a gallery space filled with Asian models featuring light and dewy makeup, long necks and even longer legs. The garments had a distinct style that was eclectic, yet sophisticated. The cuts were unique, yet not over the top and filled with surprising details like beaded shoulders and tuxedo pants with subtle slits at the hip bones.
