We were lucky enough to experience a White Christmas here in Chicago where I’ve been at home for the past week enjoying lots of family time, baking of treats (and subsequently eating too much cookie dough), playing board games, laughing lots, sipping on Plumpjack vino, telling stories and overall soaking in all that makes the holidays magical.

I wore this ensemble for the Christmas Eve festivities (this Dolce Vita dress has gotten me through more events in the past two months than I ever would have imagined – on sale now at ShopBop!) and I stepped out to mass in my Grama’s fur (I have many of her pieces that I very much cherish- such as shown here) which was especially touching given this was the first Christmas my family has spent without her. In one of many small ways, it made her feel closer to me during this weekend.
