brooklyn flea in fryes

Urban Outfitters dress, Levi’s jacket, Frye Jayden Roper boots (c/o), Kate Spade tights, Marc by Marc Jacobs Q Hillier bag, Ray Ban aviators

The team at Frye was kind enough to send me the Frye boots I blogged about here and I’ve had such a great time styling them, particularly with dresses as the weather transitions. And they are SO comfortable! Wore the above look when my friend Megan was in town the other week and we headed over to visit the Brooklyn Flea to peek at all the pretty baubles and treat ourselves to Dough (o.m.g.).

A few more snaps from the flea (hi Megs!) below as well…hope everyone had a great weekend!

Styled 3 Ways: The PS11

If I could purchase any bag right now, I think it would be the PS11 by Proenza Schouler. I’d go for it in black for its versatility and since it’s been forever since I’ve done a Styled 3 Ways post, I figured no time like the present to imagine how I’d style this bag if it were mine.

First up: My go to uniform: silk blouse, boyfriend jeans + a simple pair of heels.

Styled 3 Ways: PS11 1

Secondly, a sassy little cocktail dress for an event that calls for more than just your average clutch.

Styled 3 Ways: PS11 2

And finally, a look that easily transitions from work into happy hour or even a bit more of a dressed up Saturday for brunch at Pastis followed by some Meatpacking shopping.

Which is your favorite look!?

See more ‘Styled 3 Ways’ posts here. (Psst…I have the Marc by Marc polka dot top above and I absolute love it. Paid for itself time over time)

not so limited

The Limited sweater (c/0), J.Crew skirt, Steven by Steve Madden boots, DKNY tights, Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, Ray Ban wayfarers

This past Sunday I soaked up more of the last of the beautiful weather with a busy day that included brunch in the meatpacking district with friends Tara (in from San Francisco!) and Eliot.I wore my new cozy and oh so comfortable and versatile sweater from The Limited. It’s definitely coming home with me for the holidays to dress up and dress down. And the charcoal gray is the perfect color for this New York weather of recent, too!

Sunday was closed out by a jaunt up to my soon-to-be old neighborhood, the Upper East Side with Taylor and Hailey.

ps. don’t forget! last couple of days  to enter to win these shoes.

pps. I move next week, who wants to help me pack this weekend? anyone? anyone?
