These photos were being held hostage on my camera for the past few weeks but were taken after a perfect Saturday morning spent brunching with Caroline & Taylor at Extra Virgin (a new go-to in the West Village for me- even spotted Olivia Palermo this weekend as I headed there!) This intersection in the photos above has to be one of the most magical there is in the city- so calm and peaceful, not to mention beautiful. Better yet? It involved a run-in with friend Morgan and her dog,  Lua. Was a perfect Saturday before I jetted off to Long Island for Easter festivities.

(p.s. the Rebecca Minkoff bag above is the ideal travel bag. It’s come on every trip of mine since February- even fits my laptop and DSLR camera- what a dream…I highly recommend! Plus you don’t get more chic than subtle snakeskin, am I right?) XO

So something happened the other weekend…I became a brunette. So, voila, here’s a first look. Taylor snapped these photos during our brunch date with the gals yesterday in the West Village. The folks at Arrojo took great care of me to do the hair switch up and while I’m still adjusting to it, it’s certainly fun to have made such a drastic change.

This tote from LK Bennett accompanied me all over town this weekend, by the way. The brand is actually opening a store at Columbus Circle and given Kate & Pippa Middelton are fans, I highly suggest you check it out.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! What was the highlight of yours? Mine was definitely seeing Friends with Kids. SO, SO good!

not so limited

This past Sunday I soaked up more of the last of the beautiful weather with a busy day that included brunch in the meatpacking district with friends Tara (in from San Francisco!) and Eliot.I wore my new cozy and oh so comfortable and versatile sweater from The Limited. It’s definitely coming home with me for the holidays to dress up and dress down. And the charcoal gray is the perfect color for this New York weather of recent, too!

Sunday was closed out by a jaunt up to my soon-to-be old neighborhood, the Upper East Side with Taylor and Hailey.
