Awakening New Lengths

The past year I’ve been loving sporting mini skirts (point in case here, here and here), but, come this spring I will be keeping an eye out for some new skirts on the lengthier side. I already love this one from ASOS, this one from modcloth, this one from ThreadSence, and finally this one from Nasty Gal. Oh, decisions, decisions…

Certain bloggers have  already been doing the long skirt thing for some time (Andy of Style Scrapbook loves herself some maxi skirts like this stellar one) and others have been showcasing them with this spring-like weather we’ve been having in San Francisco (like 9to5Chic and On the Racks).

Long skirts were all over the runways when it came to Ready to Wear for spring 2011. Just a few of my favorites are below.

Seen a great maxi? Let me know as I’m on the hunt!

Temperley Times

We love Alice Temperley for her whimsy and chic designs that call upon travels and vintage art for inspiration. If you follow the runways you know Temperley London has everything from luxurious silks and French lace to the intricate hand-beading, embroidery, oversized stone and sequin embellishments as trademarks.

All that being said, we were super excited to get the very first issue of The Tempereley Times in our inbox today! Highlighting new collections, recent sightings of starlets in Tempereley and in store events this is one newsletter we will always look forward to arriving.
