What a week! Been completely crazed at work, but it’s made me so ready for the weekend which will be filled with friends, derby drinking, the gym and seeing the Alexander McQueen exhibit at the Met (!!)

New to my Google Reader is fellow StyleList network blogger Ramshackle Glam who shared a recipe for the perfect spring pasta- yum!

Happy Royal Wedding day! Whilst you won’t see any posts dedicated to the event itself, I did think Kate looked absolutely stunning this morning and I loved watching the whole affair play out. I’m a sucker for tradition and pomp and circumstance, I’ll admit it.

I must admit that this week was a rather sour one. I am so glad it is the weekend and I have fun plans with great friends to look forward to like Over the Rhine at the Highline Ballroom and brunching at Diablo Royale. Not to mention that I have a few of these little guys left for the weekend, too.

wit + delight brings us cheery shades that remind us that all these April showers will indeed bring May showers. (Made by Girl also gave a good dose of pink this week, too).

Coachella is right around the corner and while I never made it to the magical music fest, Sweet Thing has me inspired to rock my denim cut offs with just a dose more edge with her What to Wear to Coachella post.

Sincerely Jules put me in shopping jealousy mode when I saw she snagged a pair of wedges from Aldo’s new collection (raves from modman here). And her new Mara Hoffman vest is pretty dope, too. Check out her new digs here.

Jenni of I Spy DIY uses her mad skills to recreate the D&G metallic oxfords from the fall 2011 runway. If only I was as inspired and crafty as her! Until that day comes, I’ll continue to oggle over her crafty and genius ways.

Zara is EV-ERY-WH-ERE right now it seems. Their bright spring collection is popping up on blogs left and right and has me loathing the decision to go on a shopping cleanse, but nevertheless, I am newly in love with the blog Color Collective and loved this post in particular featuring some of the bolder pieces in the collection.
