Living Life Like It's Going Out of Style!

You know that scene in Father of the Bride when George Banks loses it over the number of hot dog buns in a pack? 🌭 George, I feel you 😩

I feel like I can never make a burger or hot dog or great sandwich at home because I certainly don’t need 6 or 8 buns as someone living alone. (I get guilt about food waste!)

But I am thrilled to share that I have found a solution to not only my bun woes but also my major case of recipe fatigue that’s been plaguing me lately (the struggle has been so real recently)

I am so excited to be sharing my review of @blueapron on wit & whimsy today- read about the perks of their meal delivery options (+ the improvements they’ve made since I last tried them four years ago! 👏🏻)

The post also includes an offer to score $100 off your first 5 boxes of Blue Apron! It’s a flash sale with the biggest savings I’ve seen so be sure to jump on it if you’re a new customer! (That’s a lot of free meals!) 🍔🥪🍜🥙

I finally did it!! I sat down and wrote my in depth review of all my favorite @caudalieus products!

Caudalie has become one of my favorite skincare brands over the years and I’m sharing the products I love and my tips for using them in detail with ingredient breakdowns, price and how I use each in my own regimen.

I hope you’ll find it helpful and I’m glad it’s all in one place now as I get asked about their products often!

The post took me over 3 hours to do so I sure hope you guys find it helpful 🥰

Two years ago I was in London and it felt like Spring weather in February!

@katescott10 and I went on this trip with @londoneye and it was just the best. (Also was reunited with @themodernotter 👋🏻 I miss seeing blog friends!)

I lived in London from 1994-1996 and have been lucky to go back often for visits. I absolutely love this charming city! I miss it. It’s near the top of my list to return to when the world reopens 🇬🇧

For the record, I also miss this uniform of mine I’d wear at least once a week. Bodysuits, I do not miss, however 😝

May your coffee be strong and your Monday productive!

All things considered I had a really nice weekend - I enjoyed the most beautiful snowy night walk, took naps, played a board game with family via Zoom, went to mass with my mom & sister via Zoom, did drinks over Zoom, caught up with girlfriends over Zoom (my social plans are still being extra cautious!) and ticked off several items I’d been meaning to get done around my apartment.

I made two delicious @blueapron meals in anticipation of my forthcoming review (will be live Thursday!), started watching The Good Place, made progress on my book and absolutely *loved* going through all of your responses on yesterday’s Instagram feed photo- it felt nice to be in such wonderful and positive company and really warmed my heart at this amazing community of people ❤️ love you guys so much!

How was your weekend?

I know knowing more about you all will brighten my day ☀️

The reveal is here!! The hair styling brand I was so impressed with 🙌🏻

The pandemic has wreaked havoc on my hair so I’m making hair resolutions. I’ve used @nexxushaircare products on and off for years now (I love their Diameters Shampoo + Conditioner!) The brand is a favorite salon brand of mine and I love that the products are easily available via @Target stores and Target.com. I’ve actually gone to the Nexxus salon in Tribeca on numerous occasions (they are the ones who took me back to my natural color in 2019!) So when the brand asked me to try their newest styling line at Target that’s part of Target’s “Target Clean” program I was game. After testing it for a few days I wrote back “I’m in love - sign me up for this collaboration!”

You may have seen my reaction teased on Stories - I couldn’t believe how much healthier my hair looked and acted after using the new Weightless Styling Collection. I haven’t had my hair cut or colored since August due to the pandemic so products that make it look like it has been maintained - yep, give ‘em to me.

Today on wit & whimsy I’m sharing all the details about the new @nexxushaircare Weightless Styling Collection and I can’t wait for you guys to read about the products I fell in love with! (I had two *very* favorites) If you want to shop the line quickly from your phone - download @liketoknow.it and screenshot this image for the links to be sent straight to you!

As part of the post I’m also sharing the other ways I’m taking better care of my hair health this year. I’m in my mid-30s and my hair is changing and needs all the TLC it can get!
