This summer has been good to me. I’ve not traveled too much, but have made the most of the hot days with a variety of beach visits this season. I was able to get to Nantucket for a few days and the other weekend I went down to the shore to Long Beach Island.
For my recent adventure to The Hamptons, we knew we wanted the majority of our day to be spent at the beach. Believe me when I say we lucked out and had the most beautiful weather! A breeze, not too hot and the most enjoyable ocean-side time I’ve had in recent memory. Going into the water felt like a little slice of heaven on earth.

SPF: This is my #1. I wish I would have been better about sunscreen application when I was a teenager but alas, better learn now than never. I really love the Clarins sunscreen for both face and body.
Sunglasses: Never not. This pair is currently my favorite.
Sunhat: I later my face with the aforementioned SPF but also always don a sun hat when at the beach. I get so many freckles and my skin can be so sensitive so it’s better to be safe than sorry. I also always seem to get burnt on my scalp and that is zero fun so a hat solves all.
