Best Sports Bras for Big Boobs

When you have a larger chest, finding a supportive sports bra for your workouts is of the utmost importance. And yet, so many sports bras that claim to be supportive or ideal for high impact for chest sizes D+, just aren’t. They certainly aren’t all created equal. I have bought and returned many a sports bra in the past decade as, despite claims to be supportive for high impact, the style is either not functional or just not supportive enough.

I don’t enjoy being an expert on this topic but alas, I am. I am always looking for new sports bras to try and I keep this list updated with the best finds. I try and return a lot that promise to be good sports bras for larger busts and just don’t deliver.

I’m looking for high support, functional and stylish. I like to have a variety of styles on hand depending on the workout I am doing so below you’ll find options no matter your workout preference. I personally don’t like the fit or style of sports bras with underwire so you won’t find any of those sports bras in this list.

Each of the sports bras I am including here have been tried + tested by me and passed my workout tests for support and comfort. These are my favorite sports bras for all types of working out: high impact intensity training, running, barre, yoga and walking.

Best Sports Bras for Big Boobs

Athleta Conscious Crop D-DD

Ideal for yoga and other studio workouts like barre, this sports bra is also stylish enough for weekends running errands. I love wearing it with a cardigan over it and paired with leggings. Made from buttery soft fabric it is so comfortable to wear and it also has removable cups which I recommend taking out for bigger boobs. See it on here. This style is also available for A-C cups.

Reebok Womens Puremove Sports Bra

This sports bra is made of breathable and lightweight material and boasts a special fabric with “Motion Sense” technology so that as you move your sports bra works to give you added control and support. I love that this sports bra has breathable perforations on the front and back to keep you cool as you work out. And the thicker straps ensure you’re well supported during training, running or any other type of workout.

The fit is flattering and this is a great sports bra for travel as it folds down rather compactly.

Lululemon Energy Bra B-D Cup

Despite being made for B through D cups,  as an F I am able to make it work and it is a favorite, super flattering sports bra for low-impact workouts. I love this sports bra for long walks and yoga. It has removable cups which I recommend taking out for bigger boobs.

I love that it comes in loads of colors as well.

Lululemon Energy Bra Long Line B-D Cup

Despite being made for B through D cups,  as an F I am able to make it work and it is a favorite, super flattering sports bra for low-impact workouts. I love this sports bra for long walks and yoga. I recommend sizing up. It has removable cups which I recommend taking out for bigger boobs. Like its sister bra, The Energy Bra that I speak to above, this one has an extra strip of fabric for an even more flattering fit that borders on a crop-top look.

This sports bra is perfect if you prefer to wear matching sets or not wear tanks over your sports bras.

Nike Swoosh Medium-Support 1-Piece Pad Sports Bra

I’ve been buying + wearing this bra for the better part of the past decade. Super simple, super affordable and yet practical for nearly any workout. I can do some higher impact in this sports bra but it is a great all-around sports bra.

If you’re heading out for a run or a workout with a lot of jumping, you can also easily double up on this style for added support. This wire free, comfortable style also holds up well with lots of wear + washing and I think it is really comfortable for long-wear.

Sweaty Betty All Train Sports Bra

Hands down the best, most supportive sports bra for big boobs for high impact workouts. This bra comes in loads of sizes and the fabric is bonded so there’s no chafing and no discomfort. It’s designed to prevent bounce (praise be!) and the design ensures your boobs stay put. Note: Don’t believe the negative reviews online saying it’s impossible to wear. The key is you will need to hoist your boobs into this and then work to close the hook and eye closure in the back but then they will be locked and loaded and unable to bounce around. It’s the reason this sports bra is so good for chest support!

I also love the wide shoulder straps and molded cups making this sports bra perfect for maximum support. It also has a little mesh panel at the front for some airflow.

While expensive, if you want a sports bra that won’t disappoint when it comes to supporting your bigger boobs, this is worth the investment. It is full coverage and extremely flattering on. See it on here. Don’t miss this high impact sports bra! If you’re fuller busted, you won’t regret it.

Athleta Warrior Long Line Bra D-DD

Super flattering on thanks to corsetry-inspired seamlines but also very supportive despite its pull-on style. This sports bra works well for low + medium impact workouts. Available in a wide range of sizes (and there’s a style for A-C cups, too), this bra has super soft fabric making it crazy comfortable for your workout.
