Everlane Boots and Blazers I wit & whimsy

One of the most common questions I get from readers is about Everlane jeans. Everlane is absolutely my favorite source for affordable denim. Unlike a lot of brands that sell inexpensive denim, these pairs hold their shape and hold up with wear over time.

Today I’m sharing a highly requested Everlane Denim Guide with reviews of my favorite pairs.

Everlane Denim Guide

I tend to be very picky about my denim. I know what I like and what looks good on me and given how much I wear jeans I really want them to go to work and be able to be worn a lot of ways. Through my work with Everlane I’ve tried a lot of pairs and today I’m sharing my very favorite jeans from the brand.

For sizing detail, I am my TTS size 28 in all pairs. I am 5’5″ for reference.

Everlane Denim Guide

Behold my favorite Everlane jeans:

The Authentic Stretch High Rise Button Fly jeans.

I have these in the Washed Black (above) and the Black. They are so crazy flattering on. They manage to just hug your frame and the stretch isn’t too stretchy so you really get a flattering fit.

The above is the ankle length and I love how they sit right above a bootie but also look great with flats. I own the black in the Regular length so I can tuck them in boots in the Fall & Winter. They also have a non-button fly version of their High Rise Skinny that you can see on me further below. They’re $68.

Everlane Denim Guide Everlane Summer Jean I wit & whimsy

The Super-Soft Straight Leg Jean

Formerly known as The Summer Jean and now also aptly named The Super-Soft Straight Leg Jean, these are a great comfy, slouchy soft jean that’s Everlane’s take on a boyfriend jean. The jeans feature a casual mid rise, a relaxed straight leg, and an easy ankle length you can choose to roll (as I did above) or leave long,

This pair is made of non-stretch 10 oz organic denim that’s loosely woven with less yarn per inch so they feel perfectly lived in from wear 1. I have the new distressed pair on my wish list. They’re $78.

Everlane Cheeky Straight Jeans Denim GuideI wit & whimsy

The Cheeky Straight Jean is right up my alley.

Mom jeans but make them chic. This pair is so good with slingbacks and heels in particular. Wearing Ankle length. Above I am wearing the Sky Blue color but I also just ordered them in the Indigo wash after seeing them on a French girl I follow on Instagram ;).

This straight leg jean has a super-high rise and a raised back hook seam that lifts and tightens your rear so the fit is really flattering.

The jeans also feature what Everlane calls “Happy Pockets” which are set higher and closer together for a bouncy, lifted look. I feel instantly good when I put this pair on. They’re $78.

Everlane Kick Flare Jeans I wit & whimsy

The Kick Crop jean

The Kick Crop jean is the trendiest of the pairs I own from Everlane. I personally gravitate towards this style for more casual looks and love styling a kick flare jean with mules, heels and slingbacks.

Given my height I ended up cutting off about 1.5-2inches from the bottom of these jeans when I got them to get the above length seen in this post. They’re $78.

Everlane Boots and Blazers I wit & whimsy

The Authentic Stretch High Rise Skinny jean

The Authentic Stretch High Rise Skinny jean is Everlane’s most popular jean and I have it in four different styles including the above classic Mid-Blue blue jean.

At just $68 this jean is so, so good. It’s stretch denim that actually looks like denim and won’t wear it out or lose shape with wear. The fit is flattering and I love all the various colors they offer in this jean.

Everlane White Skinny Jeans I wit & whimsy

Hooray for white jeans that are thick and therefore forgiving! I am so glad to finally own a pair of the Authentic Stretch High Rise Skinny jeans in White – just in time for warmer weather. Wearing the Ankle length.

Easy Every Day Everlane Outfit I wit & whimsy

This pair above has sold out but I have a feeling it’ll come back: The Distressed Authentic Stretch High Rise Skinny. I love the subtle distressing on this pair. Wearing the Ankle length.

Finally here is the Authentic Stretch High Rise Skinny Jeans in black. Wearing the Ankle length.

Easy Weekend Style I wit & whimsy

The Everlane Cheeky Denim Shorts

The Everlane Cheeky Denim Shorts are also a summer staple for me. Super comfy and not too short. I’m wearing a size 28.

. . .

Do you own Everlane jeans? Have a favorite pair? I’d love to hear which pair it is! Also PSA their new denim skirt is so good! On my list.

  1. I’m so overwhelmed picking out jeans so this was really, really helpful!! Does this mean I have to start wearing jeans again?

    • Meghan says:

So glad you found it helpful! And ha! I wear them 1-2 days a week nowadays but they usually get subbed out for comfy pants mid way through the afternoon lol

  2. Sabrina says:

Now can you do a quick tutorial on how you broke in the loafer? I got my size(sized up a half) and it’s like a battle to break them in. Seeking any advice!

LOVE Everlane. How did you discover them/develop a relationship with the brand?

    • Meghan says:

They wrecked my feet for a few wears and then wore like a dream. It’s worth the initial break in pain! And I started shopping their tshirts and was posting about them enough that the brand reached out and began gifting me some styles!

  3. Lori says:

Thanks…love your blog. I have been curious about this brand. I am 5′ with a little belly, very thin legs (apple shape) and a short waist. Do you think there is a Everlane style that would work for me…or do you have another brand / style recommendation. Usually I wear a mid rise, skinny, ankle length.

    • Meghan says:

I would try their styles that have Curvy in the title! And definitely the Ankle length! I believe you can also access stylists if you have more questions about their denim.

  4. I love this thorough review, thank you for sharing it. I’ve definitely added the Authentic Stretch High Rise Button Fly and the Authentic Stretch High Rise Skinny Jeans to my wishlist.
