Everything to Know About Beauty Pie

Beauty Pie Review

You might already know this, but one of the main reasons I started wit & whimsy back in 2006 was to share great finds – particularly in beauty. Ever since I was young, I have loved exploring products. After I got my driver’s license – the first place I drove was to Walgreens to buy myself some new makeup to test out.

And testing out beauty products remains one of my favorite parts of the job to date. It’s also been nice to watch the industry evolve and offer more options, better ingredients, higher performance and new innovation.

A few years back I heard about Beauty Pie from a friend in the U.K and tested out a few items. Since then, Beauty Pie has expanded and now offers even more luxury beauty products without the traditional markups that go towards paying for the middlemen or the retailer’s cost.

What is Beauty Pie

Beauty Pie is the first ever membership club for beauty lovers. Your membership allows you to buy luxury products from the world’s leading beauty labs.

Beauty Pie was started by Marcia Kilgore who also started other brands you’re likely familiar with – most notably Bliss. Marcia set out to right size how the beauty industry works and give beauty enthusiasts more options at more accessible prices.

How Beauty Pie Works

A Beauty Pie membership allows you to get more luxury beauty for your money than you would at a traditional retailer. For example, the Beauty Pie Vitamin C Moisturizer would typically be priced at $65, but is $18 with a Beauty Pie membership.

Beauty Pie is constantly adding new products so you can try out the most innovative and newest products in the world of beauty through your membership each month.

I also love that Beauty Pie isn’t just about skincare or just about makeup. They offer a wide assortment so there’s always something new and exciting to use your membership on. Their assortment includes skincare and makeup (of course!) but also accessories, candles, fragrance, body care and hair care.

Beauty Pie Wondergloss Collagen Lip Oil+

Typical Price: $30 // Beauty Pie Member Price: $8.21

You know my love of lip oils by now! And this one from Beauty Pie delivers they hydration of a balm, the shine of a gloss and it comes in a variety of wearable shades. Lips look plumped after use and you get such a dewy glow that is so pretty – particularly in summer.

I have shade Sunhazed which is a gorgeous everyday beachy-neutral and Spicy Pink looks so good, too so I’ll likely be buying that one next!

Beauty Pie One Palette Wonder

Typical Price: $45 // Beauty Pie Member Price: $9.13

Meet my new go-to travel palette. This palette includes one matte bronzer, one matte blush, one highlighter and three longwear eyeshadows in matte and shimmer finishes so it’s all you ever need in your bag! The powders are all rich pigments and were created to be long-lasting and suitable for nearly all skin tones.

I have the shade Warm Neutrals but they also have a palette featuring cooler tones if that’s more your vibe.

Beauty Pie Superdose Vitamin C Oxygen Boosting Moisturizer

Typical Price: $65 // Beauty Pie Member Price: $18.70

This moisturizer is great for daytime wear as you get a healthy glow with a rather matte finish that means you can put makeup on easily over it. Thanks to the Vitamin C and Oxygen in the formula, skin will look revived and be brightened over time.

Beauty Pie Ultralight Daily SPF 30

Typical Price: $40 // Beauty Pie Member Price: $15.80

I love how lightweight this sunscreen is and how it dries on skin. There is absolutely no residue or stickiness and the white cast really blends out into a primer-like feel. It also smells lovely! Features one of my go-to SPF ingredients: micronized Titanium Dioxide which will protect skin from both UVA and UVB radiation and is suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin!

This SPF also has vitamin E, Green Tea, Aloe Vera and anti-wrinkle Peptides so skin is left feeling hydrated vs. dried out.

Beauty Pie Pro-Glow Superstrobing Drops

Typical Price: $35 // Beauty Pie Member Price: $9.86

This was the first ever Beauty Pie product I fell in love with! The luminosity you get from just 1-2 drops of this stuff is stellar. You can mix it into your daily moisturizer or into your foundation. If you like a liquid highlighter you can also dab it onto your cheeks and blend it out. A favorite tip of mine for using these? Dap them onto your cheek bone and cupid’s bow and under neath your eyebrows. Then go back in and put a powder highlighter on top of your cheekbones for major wattage.

Beauty Pie Orange Absolute Eau de Toilette

Typical Price: $100 // Beauty Pie Member Price: $21.91

This smells like summer in France! And looks and feels like something I might have spent three figures on in a French department store, too…

It has everything I love in a perfume – part citrus, part woodsy and crafted by a famed nose from Paris. It has lemon and orange oils as top notes and then Jasmine and Musk and Wood has base notes.

One Powder Wonder

Typical Price: $35 // Beauty Pie Member Price: $7.12

This powder is great as a highlighter wherever the sun may naturally hit your face. It blurs fine lines and brightens skin while also helping protect it from pollution. A little goes a long way!

Awesome Bronze Luxe Shimmer Oil Body Balm

Typical Price: $50 // Beauty Pie Member Price: $17.38

Truth be told, I didn’t think I would love this product when I went to test it as I recently bought a shimmering body oil from Sephora and despised it when I was left smelling like a 2001 Body Shop and looking like I had just sampled products at Claire’s in the mall.

But turns out – this stuff is exactly what I had been looking for to give me a bit of a summer skin moment for the coming months. The shimmer is crazy subtle – in the best way possible. And this goes on and dries pretty instantly so you can get dressed right after. And there’s no intense smell, praise be! Just a super light flower/vanilla scent. It’s got coconut oil and coconut milk and shea butter so your skin is left smooth and looking like you summered in the South of France.
