The J.Crew Sweater Blazer was one of the best purchases I made last year. This versatile part-blazer; part-cardigan piece is so versatile and whenever I wear it I end up getting compliments on it. I first bought it in Camel as a transitional piece to wear on cooler summer evenings and into Fall and then picked up the Black recently as well due to how much I wore the Camel! I now own it in three colors.

The J.Crew Sweater Blazer Styling Ideas

I love how the J.Crew sweater blazer is so perfect for casual outfits of any kind. You can also top it over black pants if you wanted to wear it to work but I personally love it styled with jeans and denim shorts. This open front sweater blazer has a relaxed fit and hits below the hip. I find the fit is best when you size down one size (I wear the small).

The fabric of the sweater blazer is a lighter-weight cotton/poly/wool blend you can wear all year long which makes this a great investment pieces. It’s the perfect polished-but-relaxed style that makes it versatile and I also love that it is made from responsibly grown cotton via the Better Cotton Initiative. It has bracelet-length sleeves, patch pockets and will cover your bum!

The sweater blazer now comes in seven colors and multiple patterns! 

This time I wore it with a classic button down and distressed jeans but I also love it with my favorite t-shirt and classic skinny or straight jeans like these two favorite pairs. For casual nights out, it is also great paired over a lace cami or silk cami. You could also style it by wearing it over your shoulders with a cami and heels and jeans for a more dressed up look.
