Today’s look is another black, white and red look (a bit different than last week’s) and ever since buying them I’ve been wearing these Joie heels everywhere (here, here).

I had such a satisfying weekend. I hadn’t been in New York for a weekend in nearly 5 weeks so it was the perfect opportunity to see friends and catch up on things. I fit in seeing my friends’ new downtown Brooklyn apartment (taco night!), some shopping (I bought this), a mani/pedi, dinner in the neighborhood, a coffee date, a Flywheel class and brunch with my brother. I’m starting this week happy to know I have Friday off and determined to make this an efficient week to enjoy the long weekend ahead. Frankly of late I’ve been feeling restless and somewhat frustrated by life in New York City so I’m hoping to use Labor Day weekend as a source for rest and inspiration to find that dose of love for this wild city that I know I’ve had before!
