I had this outfit idea during the fall and set out to find a striped shirt that would look decent on a girl with a chest. I ended up buying this tee in a large so it didn’t draw attention in the wrong areas (stop wearing too-tight stripes, people!) and loved styling it with a faux fur vest (stolen from my roommate’s closet) and my go-to plaid scarf. I found other great striped tee options, too: this one is so cheap (and comes in plus size and petite!), this one looks so cozy and perfectly slouchy, and this one is a great classic navy & white option.

Paired with my go-to denim + booties, both listed in yesterday’s post and two of my Christmas presents- this quilted bag in a color I can’t get enough of (it works year round) and the monogram necklace I’ve wanted for years.

Has this first week of 2015 been rough for anyone else? Days back at my desk (and in so many meetings!) have been a harsh reality after my time spent in Colorado but I have to admit I’ve also been feeling inspired this week to make 2015 the best ever. I’m planning a trip to ring in the big 3-0, looking forward to being in San Francisco with my best gals next week and feeling re-inspired on this ol’ blog. How’s your 2015 off to so far?
