Staying in an apartment in Paris always feels like such a luxury as it is a wonderful way to feel like you’re more of a local during your time visiting the city of light. Hotels can be extremely expensive and of course don’t have the same amenities that staying in a home afford. During October 2021 I stayed in two apartments owned and operated by Paris Perfect Rentals and today I am sharing more about their properties and the experience when you book with them.
Paris Perfect Rentals Review
Paris Perfect offers both short term rentals and monthly rentals as well as has properties that are great for families and also some amazing spots for romantic getaways or honeymoons.
Paris Perfect and London Perfect were founded in the late 1990s by Madelyn Byrne and Philippe Willems, starting with a single property they owned in Paris. They grew the business by purchasing and fixing up properties with great potential, many with incredible views. Paris Perfect is now part of Perfect Experiences which also owns and operates properties in London and Italy as well.
Location, location, location
Paris Perfect features apartments in some of Paris’s most desired neighborhoods and many of the properties offer stunning views. I stay at both the Cognac and the Saint Emilion apartments both of which boast unbelievable views of the Eiffel Tower that you can enjoy throughout your stay.
Paris Perfect apartments have a variety of floor plans that ensure you’ll find a property that works best for you and your travel companions. I love that they thought of adding additional sleeping arrangements so that a lot of the properties are great for groups and for families.
Following selecting the apartment you’ll be staying at, the Paris Perfect team can help guide other aspects of your vacation. They can set up tours for you or organize reservations or book airport transfers. My favorite aspects of their team is that they greet you on-site to get you acclimated at the apartment, show you how things work and can answer any questions you have.
The rentals from Paris Perfect are all over Paris but their team prioritizes having units near some of Paris’s most famed attractions. This way you can walk out your door and have Paris’s world class attractions, museums and cultural offerings at your fingertips.
I love that when you stay in an apartment in Paris you often get things like access to washer dryer to be able to do laundry if you have kids or are staying for a longer stay and even having things like an equipped kitchen to make breakfast or dinner or dine together all in a dining room if you’re traveling with friends or want to host friends and family over during your stay. Paris Perfect also has a variety of properties that have dishwashers and elevators – two things not often found in Paris rental properties.
The properties are also outfitted with Egyptian cotton linens, luxury toiletries and high-end appliances while having been professional decorated as well.
With Paris Perfect you’ll also get thoughtful amenities like free calls to many countries around the world as well as complimentary wireless internet access.
The Paris Perfect team has neighborhood guide for you to use while staying with them. The guides are updated annually and are chock full of great local recommendations for you to peruse. I love that their team emails them to you in advance as well as having them on-site printed in the apartment so you can use their recommendations as you work on planning your trip!
I love taking the metro while I am in Paris and if you do as well, know that the Paris Perfect apartments are conveniently located near public transportation so you’ll be able to head out the door and easily locate a metro stop or a bus stop to help you get around the city.
The Paris Perfect Apartments I stayed in
I will dream of the terrace at the Paris Perfect Cognac apartment for many, many years to come.
The Cognac is a Paris Perfect short-term apartment rental in the 7eme arrondissement and is located on the 7th floor looking out over Paris’s famed rooftops and the Eiffel Tower. The long balcony has stunning views that allows you to wake up with La Tour Eiffel and go to bed as it sparkles along the skyline. The unit has two full bedrooms plus a private sitting room that closes off completely from the living room to create bedroom 3 at night. The apartment accommodates up to eight people and features a fully equipped kitchen, two large bathrooms a convenient half bath and air conditioning (a rarity in Paris!)
The Rodin museum, a personal favorite of mine, is also a short walk away as is the Seine.
. . .
Also located in the 7th arrondissement on the left bank of the Seine River, this is another striking apartment that will absolutely have you feeling like a local. The Eiffel Tower and the Champs de Mars are literally steps away so you can’t beat the location. This is also in an elevator building and features air conditioning. The windows open up to La Tour Eiffel and you can literally sit having breakfast at the dining table and enjoy views of the Iron Lady.
And every night, I sat in the living room watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle – pinching myself that I was in my pajamas getting these spectacular views!
I loved that both of these apartment rentals are near Rue Cler which is my favorite little street in the 7th that is a must-visit before any Champs de Mars picnic.
A few other properties from Paris Perfect that you may want to look at for your next trip to Paris:
Overlooking the peaceful and utterly charming Place Dauphine, on the Île de la Cité, the Savennières is a beautiful one-bedroom penthouse rental, set on the 6th and 7th floors.
A spacious 3 bedroom apartment located on the 8th floor of a historic and traditionally Parisian building with Eiffel Tower views. The living room, separate dining area and a comfortable sitting room offer plenty of space to relax during your moments at home in Paris.
Overlooking the peaceful and charming Place Dauphine, on the Île de la Cité, the Castillon is a beautiful one-bedroom vacation rental set on the third floor. You’ll be surrounded by history during your stay at this stunning property, built in 1610 at the request of King Henri IV.
A beautiful two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with a dreamy location in the 7th arrondissement. This sunny apartment features large French windows facing onto the Champ de Mars gardens, with a stellar view of the nearby Eiffel Tower through the trees.
