Paris Photo Spots I wit & whimsy

Paris itself is one of the most photogenic cities in the world and snapping photos as I walk around is one of my favorite pasttimes. But there’s certainly some particularly beautiful spots to take photos and have your photo taken that really stand out.

As part of Paris, Perfected, I share a whole host of special and favorite photo spots – many lesser-known hidden gems – if clients request it. But today I thought I’d share a handful of them here.

Photogenic Spots in Paris:

Palais Royal: The Palais Royal and its gardens are always worth a visit and I’ve snapped photos here so many times. I always must visit this beautiful spot in the 1st arrondissement.

Rue de l’Universite: One of the most popular spots for Eiffel Tower views.

Café de Flore: Some of these photos were shot at this iconic and photogenic cafe.

Galerie Vivienne: A gorgeous covered passageway with charming shops. A great place to visit on a rainy day.

Pont Alexandre III: Paris’ most grand bridge in my opinion. See it here.

Place des Vosges: One of Paris’ oldest squares and one of the most tranquil spots in Paris in my opinion.

Place Vendôme: The grand feeling courtyard that’s home to The Ritz Paris.

Ile Saint Louis: This charming island is so quaint and special feeling – no matter how many times I visit it. I also think the homes along the Seine on the island are some of the most photogenic from the connecting bridges.

Grands Magasins Rooftops: The rooftops of Printemps and Galeries Lafayette offer sweeping (and free!) views over the city.

Hotel Duret Chevry: This is one of the most photogenic courtyards in all of Paris if you ask me.

Pont Bir-Hakeim: A bridge with a stunning backdrop of the Eiffel Tower. I took these photos here.
