Recent Favorite Travel Beauty Products

November 3, 2015

My most recent trip to Europe had me traveling for nearly two weeks so I was extra cautious about what I ended up packing and using while traveling. Today I’m sharing the standout products that I brought (+ bought) and would highly recommend for your next trip.

Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner

I picked this eyeliner up as an impulse purchase at Sephora and o-m-g it is the best stuff ever. Forget any other eyeliner I’ve ever recommended. This stuff is a godsend (and you must get the brush it is designed to be used with too, game-changing combo.) It glides on smoothly and precisely (I’m rubbish at using liquid eyeliners so the gel formula is key for me.) It quickly dries and then lasts forever. I would put it on early in the morning, go all day with it and then not require touch ups before heading out for the evening. Seriously, you need this stuff.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20

This product is like gold to travel with. It gives you three functions in one lightweight bottle. You get your SPF while you’re out and about outdoors all day traveling. You get a moisturizer without having to bring a separate one along. And you get light coverage so you can leave any foundation behind. It also gives you a dewy, soft glow for all those Instagrams and Snapchats…you hear me!?

BioDerma Cleansing Water

So before I headed to Paris I happened to read on Vogue.com about the “French girl’s beauty secret.” It was talking about micellar water and comes recommended highly by a very well regarded NYC dermatologist. Naturally, I was intrigued. And when I go to Europe I always spend some time in their pharmacies – they have so many interesting products we don’t have (another post on that coming soon)! This cleansing water can essentially be used as a toner but it’s excellent for sensitive skin like mine and I ended up buying a travel size in Paris and using it throughout the trip as a last step of washing my face. It even gets rid of stubborn waterproof make up! It’ll leave your

Foreo Luna Mini

I had this little device sitting around for weeks and threw it in my suitcase at the last minute having decided that my Clarisonic was too heavy. I am so glad I brought this! It is designed to deeply clean through sonic pulsations while also removing dead skin cells (excellent for after long flights!), unclogging pores and removing makeup residue. The best part? It’s so compact and lightweight which makes it absolute perfection for travel.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Travel Set

I use the Living Proof PHD cream every time before I blow dry so when I saw this set I knew it would be perfect for my trip. We stayed partially in Paris in an airbnb so you don’t have toiletries like you’d expect to rely on when in hotels so a travel size kit is the answer should you be renting an apartment on an upcoming trip.

Lucky you on a two week Europe trip! I bought that Biodermea cleansing water in France as well…I don’t find it to be life changing, but it is good for gently removing eye makeup!
