This necklace is new to my collection. My parents bought it for me while in London earlier this summer and I think it is so special. A woman in London makes these with pearls found in the Philippines. When I opened it and told my mom “it is so unique” she immediately remarked she thought she failed in picking out a present – ha! (How often have you said something is “unique” when you get a present you don’t like? She had a point…) But honestly it was the best way to describe it. I have nothing like it and will always think of the sentiment when I wear it. (Thank you Mom & Dad!)

This summer in New York has actually been unseasonably un-miserable. Maybe because I’ve been here less this summer (on the road lots) but this is the first week I’ve actually been feeling the humidity. Normally by this time in the summer I am praying for Fall weather. It’s allowed me to get more wear out of my denim though – particularly these white jeans which I love.

And because I’ll actually be in the city this weekend, I’m looking forward to doing something on my summer activity list!

And how cute is this Timex watch? It couldn’t be more perfect for stacking and I just love the gold polka dots on it. At $55 (or even less if you shop on the Timex site!) it is the perfect accessory to add to your arm party. (Not to mention…wouldn’t it make a darling gift for a girlfriend?)
