Classic, tailored pieces are what make up the majority of my wardrobe and I start to wear them all on repeat come Winter when coats are part of the every day. I reach for a version of this outfit every week once temperatures drop.
Styling Winter Classics
I love a textured knit under a super simple jacket silhouette and cableknit always fits the bill for that. This one from J.Crew has side slits making it a bit more casual and a mockneck. I paired it with my favorite pair of high waisted jeans from Everlane (the dark washed black shade is so good this time of year!) and my go-to walking boots from Rag & Bone.
If you’re ever feeling stuck when getting dressed this time of year – reach for the classic pieces you have and do so in all the same shades. For this look I stuck to white/camel/black. It’s an easy formula that I find makes getting dressed on color mornings even easier!
