Happy Monday, you guys! If you follow me on social media you know I spent a few days down at Disney World. I hadn’t been down there since 8th grade (for a singing competition no less – ha!) so it was fun to rediscover old favorites like Splash Mountain and Space Mountain and see how the parks have changed over the years. Everything is so high tech now! I was amazed at all the differences. Another highlight was dinner at the new STK over in Disney Springs. We had such a great meal there (and it was a nice change from all the “park food.”)

I actually wore this outfit on the plane home yesterday but shot it over in DUMBO last week. Doesn’t the waterfront look like a green screen!? I couldn’t believe what a gorgeous morning we had while shooting. 68 degrees, a breeze and hardly anyone around made for a fun backdrop with one of the most gorgeous views of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan.

I always keep one denim jacket out when I transition my closet as I love it as a layering piece. I plan to put it under a winter jacket for a different look once temperatures drop. (This one is my absolute favorite and is currently marked down!) This striped tee was the other piece I bought from the Madewell x Sezane collaboration and while it is sold out I highly recommend having a red striped tee at your beckon call. I also have this plain one that’s currently on sale (styled here.) The weight of it is so great and I adore the fit so I also have the navy/ivory one.

I’m coming up on six years spent in this city and coming home following a trip is always the greatest reminder of how lucky I feel to call New York home. While I love getting out and seeing other parts of the world, I always feel grateful to come back to my little corner of lower Manhattan that I love dearly.
