The other week I was riding on the subway and I saw ads being run by the Mayor’s office profiling a variety of New Yorkers sharing why they love New York in 25 words. No more, no less. It was fun to see what stuck out to people and immediately had me thinking of what I might select for my 25 words.
Why I Love New York in 25 Words
If you’ve ever lived in New York you know that it is hard to put into words why you love it here and what’s kept you here despite all the challenges that living here brings. I’ve penned my love to New York on this very blog many times (here, here and here) and after nearly nine years, I’ll admit that the following 25 words I selected were rather easy to compile. There really is so much to love about this crazy, eclectic, energetic, evolving, beautiful city and I hope I never tire of exploring more reasons to love The Big Apple. It felt only appropriate to share photos today shot in the number one reason I love New York.

If this is the Central Park shoot that you woke up at the crack of dawn for, it was worth it because these photos are freaking GORGEOUS!! I live in Jersey, but frequent the city often, and just love it so much. The word I would choose would be enigma. There is so much I have yet to discover in this big glorious city, and you never quite now what you are going to find or stumble upon! I really hope to live in the city one day because I have been longing for that experience since I was 7, and paid my first visit! 🙂
