spring 2011 essentials

I spent much of this weekend wandering all around the city taking in what still feels like my “new” city. I experienced the amazingness that is Mario Batali’s latest endeavor, Eataly (it’s like a slice of heaven!), played tourist when I nibbled on a Magnolia cupcake (I think it was the best one I’ve had yet), visited Madewell’s brand new store in the Flatiron district and did a tad too much shopping. In doing so, however, I mentally took notes of all things I felt necessary for this spring.

My ownership of the essentials listed above is almost complete. What are your spring essentials?

   LOVE the ASOS dress, posted it a few weeks ago but I can’t decide on size/color! eep!

   I’m so on board with these spring 2011 essentials. I’ve got the AA clutch (an interesting purchase. you get what you pay for I think…) a straw fedora and some good floral scarves. I think I need to hit the gym to earn that backless ASOS dress but HOT DAMN I think it would be worth it
