In other news, the day is finally here- tonight I am Paris bound! I booked this trip six months ago and couldn’t be more excited. For me this trip represents a lot. It’s been a hell of a year. I’ve been battling ongoing health issues, balancing blogging and working a demanding full-time job in PR and then dealt with the overwhelming stress issue when I was rendered almost homeless. I continue to have items with my health (I’m gaining weight nearly weekly because of my thyroid and that has been so, so hard and most recently was diagnosed with a nerve entrapment in my left arm meaning I have no feeling in a part of it. I’m praying it improves very quickly).

All that said I associate Paris with such an amazing chapter in my life (I studied abroad there and had such an amazing period of growth and recollection). And this time instead of hitting the books and stressing about learning the language I am going to make every effort to just pause and soak in every moment and appreciate how I worked to make this trip happen.

On that note I’m making my time abroad a true vacation and will be taking time off from blogging. I can’t wait to share with you all that I see/eat/do/experience when I get back! A bientot!
