At an event a few weeks back I saw Grace wearing these amazing looking leggings and I think my jaw dropped when she told me they were from SPANX of all places! (See how she styled them here.) They looked so expensive on her so I promptly ordered them and am in love. Man do they deliver on the promise of making you feel all tucked in and they feel very luxe despite being under $100! Win/Win am I right? I’ve paired them with oversized cozy knits & also boyfriend shirts like this buffalo plaid one. Two years ago I wouldn’t have been caught dead wearing flannel plaid shirts and yet here I am – got to love how our styles change. (This one is next on my list!)

I wore this outfit last Friday when I headed to the historic Algonquin Hotel for Old Fashioneds before seeing ONCE on Broadway. The show ends in early January and man am I glad I snuck it in before it closed. It was so, so good & just a lovely story. Afterwards this happened (HAHA!) and then my friend Bridget and I headed downtown for some major Italian indulgences at a West Village restaurant that had been on my bucket list, dell’anima.

Happy Friday! I’ll have a roundup live later on today but what are your weekend plans? I’m sure many are traveling but I’ll be sitting tight running last minute errands, seeing friends and packing up for my trip out West. I. AM. SO. EXCITED.

Outfit: Plaid Button Down // Spanx Leggings // Forever21 bag (similar here) // Toy Watch // Olive + Piper Necklace (c/o) // Alice + Olivia shoes (last seen here and I love the red ones!) // J.Crew Coat (this season’s updated version here) // Zara Scarf (love this one, too) // Favorite Sunglasses
