My Favorite Products for a Summer Glow

June 30, 2015

With my fair skin, I am much better off with a “fake it” kinda glow for the summer. As much as I would love to tan, this Irish-skin of mine much prefers to either burn or freckle so I rely on makeup to give myself that sun-kissed look during summer.Today I’m sharing my favorite products I use daily to make it happen and hope those other fair-skinned sisters will appreciate the recommendations! (And if you need me I’ll be looking for more hats to add to my beach rotation…womp womp, ha!)

Wander Beauty On The Go Blush + Illuminator:

What.a.genius.product. This blush/highlighter combo comes everywhere with me at this point. It cuts down on products you have to carry with you and I’m quite sure is one of the chicest looking beauty products on the market, no? I have the soft pink / nude glow and spread both across my cheekbones for instant definition and the perfect illuminating effect.

Clarins Illuminating Blush:

I swipe this on top of the Wander Beauty stick regularly. I love how soft the pink is and that it adds just the right amount of sheen.

Physicians Formula Powder Bronzer:

I’ve been using this stuff since college and it never gets old. No matter what expensive bronzers I try, I always come back to this one. It is the perfect dusting of color for my skin and despite what bronzer how-tos will tell you, I put it all over my face pressed powder.

Eco Tools Kabuki Brush:

This Angled Kabuki brush is so soft and the perfect applicator for the aforementioned bronzer. Its shape makes sculpting and contouring super easy and I make sure to carry some bronzer onto my neck and chest for even application.

St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse:

With the recent news from my aesthetician that I may have a skin allergy to the sun, this mousse has never been more critical. While I love Jergens Natural Glow I despise the smell. This stuff is worth paying the extra dollars for in my opinion. It looks natural, is easy to apply and doesn’t leave your sheets smelling horrific.

Special thanks to Eco Tools for partnering on this post.
