Nashville Travel Diary

nashville I TN

As previously mentioned, I headed to Nashville last month with a few girlfriends to celebrate the big 3-0! It was hands down one of the most fun weekends I have ever had and I fell head.over.heels with this town.

People were beyond friendly, the food was ridiculously good and there was live country music everywhere. I hope you enjoy the snaps I took over the course of the weekend and below you’ll find a guide to my favorite eats, drinks and where to stay!

Where to stay:

The Hutton Hotel:

Perfectly located just down the road from all the action, The Hutton was the perfect spot for us.

Where to eat:

The Southern:

A menu with something for everyone, this was our first stop when we arrived in Nashville. We got seated at a great big booth and dined on fish tacos (with loads of hot sauce of course), salads and burgers.

Rolf & Daughters:

This place was so delicious. Not to mention it provided the perfect hideaway as a thunder and lightening storm was raging outside. We were tucked into the corner and had a long meal full of crafted cocktails and one of the best pastas I’ve ever eaten.

Biscuit Love:

My god is this place heaven. Besides having ridiculous biscuits piled high with gravy (they don’t look appealing as you can tell from the above photo but trust me when I say W-O-W) they also excel at Bloody Marys, iced coffees and those stuffed doughnuts you see in the above photo.

Acme Feed + Seed:

We ended up at Acme twice during our short stay. First for afternoon drinks amidst live music and then for Sunday brunch. Their brunch menu is off the charts. We all ordered something different and the food is very Southern and very good. The entertainment is low key and the bartenders fun.

Where to drink:

The Stage:

We ended both Friday and Saturday nights at The Stage because the live music was that fun. The dance floor is crowded but the bands played so many great songs that had us singing along that we didn’t even notice those around us.

Tootsies:

Tootsies is famous and the crowd confirms that. We stayed for only a few moments at night but revisited during the day when it was less crowded. Make your way to the roof deck to see the main strip from above.

Honky Tonk Central:

Three floors with live music on every floor, we set up shop both Saturday during the day and Sunday after brunch at this tourist spot, sipping on Bud Lights and making new friends while loving all of the small bands that will take requests with a $20 donation.

All my girlfriends and I are trying to plot a return to this boot-scootin’, country lovin’, delicious town ASAP because it was that good of a time. Have you ever been? If you haven’t, I can’t recommend it enough!

A big thank you to The Hutton Hotel for providing a media rate for our stay.
