Some Beauty Trends to Try Now

In today’s second post with Walgreens (see the first one here) I’m sharing more beauty trends to try out this Fall! I’ve been revisiting what was on the runways in February on Elle.com and Vogue.com and the likes and feeling inspired to switch things up in my routine. Is anyone else totally stuck in a beauty rut recently?

Walgreens had sent over this summer some of their most popular lines including Boots No. 7Botanics and Circa and Colour Prevails and below are my favorites.

Clean Skin

Enough with packing on the powder and foundation. Let your skin breathe and focus on phenomenal skin care this season. Use a serum like the Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Serum and I also use a face oil on weekends, especially as the air gets drier. I’ve been using the Boots Botanic facial oil recently which smells so good and is only $9! It locks in moisture and helps to improve suppleness (which is essential for us 30 year olds!)

Copper/Bronze Shadow

I always love a metallic shadow for nighttime and it was all over the runways at Zac Posen, Mara Hoffman and Marchesa for this season. Try out the Circa Saturated Eye Crayon in ‘Pure Topaz’ or the oh-so-smooth Nonie Creme Eye Shimmer Powder in ‘Copper’ or ‘Teddy Bear’.

Pale Pink Nails

I know Fall often ushers in darker nail colors (burgundy! red! black!) but this season I’m doing pale pink nails. It shows chipping less meaning you can maximize your manicure and it’s a softer, more feminine approach to beauty which I kind of love if you’re going to do a pale pink lip as mentioned in this post. I love this Essie color Walgreens sent over called ‘limo-scene.’

A pale pink nail color is usually my go-to polish. I just love the more natural look.

I’ve definitely been on the pale pink nails trend! There’s just something timeless about that particular shade, and it’s something everyone can wear-love it!
