Two Piece Little Black Dress

It’s been a while since I donned a statement necklace and it’s been since never that I donned a 2-piece dress.

When I ordered this dress from Shopbop I was 99% sure I’d have to return it and that the top wouldn’t suit my body type but I surprisingly fell in love with it upon arrival. It nips at the waist in just the right spot and has such a flattering fit thanks to the two piece construction. (It also comes in a beautiful red color!) I have no doubt I’ll be wearing it lots this summer as it can easily be dressed up with a bold necklace or dressed down with sandals + a denim jacket.

When it arrived I knew it had to be shot in a special place. One thing I want to do with my outfit posts moving forward is finding proper settings when the ensemble calls for it. I generally shoot in the same radius because of my work schedule but have to say it was so fun to shoot at the iconic New York Public Library on 5th Avenue for the first time. I felt very Audrey Hepburn (#idol) while taking these photos.

Hope you had a lovely weekend! xx
