Today’s the day! I’m off to France to see my oldest friend get married!

Back story for those of you interested…Caroline and I met in 4th grade when we were both living in London and attending The American School in London. Several months after school started Caroline’s family had to move to Paraguay so after only knowing each other for about 4 or 5 months we became pen pals. Then eventually we became Hotmail pals (remember when email was invented!? Crazy to think back to life before it…) Then we became Gmail pals and through all of the correspondence we became actual pals coordinating meet ups in person whenever we could – in Paris, London, Chicago, San Francisco and New York over the years. I’ve been lucky enough to keep in touch with her for the past 22 years if you can believe it! She is such a blessing in my life and I am so honored to get to be able to watch her marry her fiancé outside of Bordeaux this weekend.

I’m going to have a much more limited posting schedule for the next two weeks while I am gone vs. my normal 5x / week but you can catch what I’m doing & what I’m wearing in real time on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Snapchat (also @meghandono.) You can also get a sneak peek at what I packed in the slideshow below! In the meantime there will be a post here and there while I’m gone.
