The Lazy Girl's Guide to Beauty

I’m personally someone who loves skincare and makeup and probably won’t tire of it soon but I also know not everyone is that way! I definitely don’t apply a full face of makeup everyday (I’m tired thinking about it!) but I am one of those people who feels the need to put something on my face before I leave the house for anything aside from workouts or grocery store visits.

It is on those days that I do my “lazy girl” face and figured it was high time I share those products I rely on when I’m trying to make my face look alive in record time.

Beauty Products for Girls Who Don't Love Beauty Products

Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar Glow Drops:

Hate the process of foundation, highlighters, powders, etc.? Well meet these handy little glow drops that can simply be added to your favorite moisturizer to bring you a speedy lit-from-within glow. Skin is instantly more fresh looking and when I added these drops to one of my favorite face oils the other day I couldn’t believe how radiant and smooth everything looked! (Head’s up: If you use them with a face oil I would, however, recommend dusting your face with a setting powder afterwards – just a head’s up!)

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Mico Cleansing Balm:

Are you someone who hates taking off makeup and washing your face? Fear not and do it all in a few swipes when you coat your face with this incredibly soft, oh-so silky cleansing balm. As you begin to smooth it on your face it turns into an oily, milky texture that rinses off leaving skin super hydrated and oh so clean. On nights I am being lazy I smother this on my face, all over my eyes and eyelashes and then rinse everything off. This is the other cleansing balm I love but it is way more pricey. The Estee Lauder one is far more affordable and works just as well and doesn’t have as strong of a scent if fragrance isn’t your thing.

AMOREPACIFIC Age Correcting Foundation Cushion with SPF 25:

Ok so I will start by saying I think this product is a little too pricey for what it is but it is literally the easiest face makeup I’ve ever applied so I had to include it in this lazy girl’s guide. This compact gives lasting coverage in just a few swipes and my skin immediately looks more even-toned, smooth and matte after application. I have tried similar cushion compacts and never been impressed but the formulation of the foundation in this one is just really, really good because it is so easy to apply and super blendable. And the fact that it has SPF 25 gives it major points in my book. I don’t even have to set it with pressed powder and generally will skip concealer after use, too so my whole routine gets cut down when I pull this baby out!

MAC Brow Sculpt:

Doing my brows is a “can’t miss it” sort of thing for me these days and I think actually helps get your overall face opened up without a lot of work. A few swipes of this MAC pencil and your brows will be prepped and ready and you can skip eye shadow and liner all together! If you want something even easier, try Glossier Bow Brow.

RMS BEAUTY LIP2CHEEK:

I just wrote about this beauty multi-tasker in this post but given its double duty power, I had to include it here! Pop it on your lips + cheeks and you’ll have a soft swash of color that’ll bring life to your face in a few easy swipes.

Stila HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara:

This mascara is my holy grail mascara. It is THE BEST. Just a few coats and eyelashes instantly look longer and more voluminous. It’s what I wear every single day that I shoot blog photos! The formula is an intense black shade and there is literally zero clumping. You don’t need any other eye makeup if you’re using this stuff…trust.

p.s. my favorite natural beauty products and how to get super glowy skin.
