Summer Bucket List

Central Park Picnic I Meghan Donovan

These bucket lists have become one of my favorite posts to put together! I did pretty well on my Spring Bucket List but suddenly summer is upon us and as I don’t have a ton of travel planned, I’m looking forward to making headway on the below.

  1. Cook fish at home. (I’ve never done this! Only shellfish before!)
  2. See an outdoor film. (I’ve been meaning to do this every summer since I moved to NYC. It’s high time.)
  3. Make an Aperol spritz at home. (Check! Just did this last weekend in fact ;))
  4. Visit Governor’s Island.
  5. Get iced coffee at Happy Bones.
  6. Read in the park.
  7. Go to the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory.
  8. Keep fresh flowers in the house every weekend I’m home to enjoy them.
  9. Go to Chez Moi on a Monday for jazz.
  10. Try two restaurants in my new neighborhood.
  11. Go on a sunrise walk along the river.
  12. Meet friends for a pitcher of frose at Pizza Beach.

What’s on your guys’ summer bucket list!?

p.s. good activities for summer in NYC and my guide to NYC.

I love reading everyone’s summer bucket lists! I just put mine together and at the top of it is skydiving and celebrating my 30th birthday 🙂 I also want to watch the sunrise over Lake Michigan one morning!

Oh my gosh you are so much more brave than I!! But YAY for turning 30! I had the BEST time ringing in the new decade so I’m excited for you for that upcoming milestone!!

    What a great list!

I have so much I want to do. I am scared to create a list and not get it accomplished. Maybe I will post it and then have to hold myself accountable.

    Have a great summer!

    Love this list!
A great excuse to visit Governor’s Island is the Jazz Age Lawn Party! I go every year and it’s one of the funnest outings the city has to offer!
