The Beauty Edit

June 25, 2018

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I’m kicking off the week sharing some of my latest favorite beauty discoveries that have become staples for me. Hope you find something you may want to try!

It Cosmetics SuperHero Eyeliner

I’m not great at liquid eyeliner but this is one of the easiest one I’ve tried and I like it because it really stays put. I’ve tried other eyeliners that become shiny as the day goes on or they start to flake off but this one won’t budget. It’s also waterproof! I like using this eyeliner for evening nighttime looks in the summer. (My all-time favorite eyeliner I use daily is here, by the way).

NARS Orgasm Afterglow Lip Balm

If you’re a beauty junkie you know that NARS’ Orgasm blush is one of the best products ever. It’s cult status has now led to an expansion of the Orgasm line and I am so in love with their new Orgasm Afterglow Lip Balm. It’s a super sheer wash of color in that iconic peachy/pink color. Your lips will feel super supple after use and the sheer tint is universally flattering. I love this stuff.

Kérastase Discipline Maskeratine

This is one of those products that I can’t believe I lived without for so long! My colorist recommended it to me to help moisturize my hair and aid in frizz and I love how my hair looks and feels after use.

Apply Masque Curl Idéal to damp, cleansed hair from roots to ends. Massage into the hair fiber and spread on the scalp for greater root control. Leave in for 5 minutes then rinse thoroughly and follow with appropriate primer(s).

Sara Happ Coconut Lip Scrub

I love, love, love Sara Happ’s lip products (exhibit A) and her newest launch is no exception. This coconut lip scrub solves any lip flaking after just one use and I’ve been keeping it in my shower to do as a part of my regular routine. I like that it is loaded with natural oils to soften and hydrate and appreciate that the coconut scent + flavor isn’t overwhelming. If you ever experience dry or flaky lips and want a quick way to fix them so lipsticks, etc. go on perfectly, I highly recommend this.
