When a WIT is given the luxury of a day off, you have got to take advantage of it. One of the best ways I think to do so? Treating yourself to some much deserved R&R and getting a manicure & pedicure. I just tried the darling place Milk + here in San Francisco and loved it.

With the gorgeous 70 degree weather that San Francisco has been enjoying, today I opted for all fun pinks versus my favorites of late– burgandys and chocolate browns. The staff was incredibly attentive and despite the small size of the place, you feel basked in bliss with quiet music, plenty of sunshine and an atmosphere of pretty scents and low-key indulgence.

Prices at Milk + are totally reasonable (manicures are $12 and pedicures are $23) and the care the staff provides is worth becoming a regular customer if you’re a San Francisco native.

I was lucky enough to have a gift certificate that allowed for the justification of my mini-spa day, but if you’re not able to lay down the cash, remember that it’s easy to get your nails in good shape all on your own as well. Plus, then when you do make it to the nail salon, it seems like even more of a treat!
