You know those mornings when your alarm goes off and your first thought is “I can’t”? I know them all too well (I so wish I was more of a morning person!) and those are the mornings when I go for as simple a makeup look as possible. I aim to be out the door in under 40 minutes and that includes some time scrolling through my Instagram feed while watching the TODAY show haha!
So today I’m rounding up my favorite, go-to makeup products that I use when I’m doing a quick 5-minute face.
My first step after applying moisturizer is this genius primer. It smooths out imperfections and minimizes your pores so you have a better, more matte canvas to work with.
This is a great double duty product for mornings you’re running out the door. Swipe it on your cheeks (and then layer with bronzer for some contouring) and apply to your lips. Throw in your bag for touch-ups on the go.
I use this as a bronzer because of my fair skin and it is just what I need to look alive in the morning. Apply subtly.
This extra soft brush is used to apply my bronzer across my forehead (where light naturally hits) and on my cheeks after applying the NARS stick as my blush. Another great tip? Use it to apply powder dry shampoo to your roots! #2for1!
This eyelid primer can’t be beat. Don’t try others – trust this one and you’ll never be worried about creased shadows or smeared eyeliner or mascara.
This is the perfect day time color for eyeliner in my opinion because it is less harsh than black but still makes a statement. When applied over eye shadow primer (read on for my favorite one) and a subtle shadow, it has major staying power to get you through the day.
This is a newer product in my rotation but holy WOW lashes. I’m mildly borderline obsessed with my lashes (I’ve recently fallen in love with this!) and this mascara after just one coat majorly makes an impact. If you’re in the market for a new mascara and you like your lashes to look full, dark and loaded with volume – you need this.
