Upstate for the Soul ☺️🍂❤️

This is my favorite time of year to escape the city and head North. The colors are changing, the air is crisper and cozy season is beginning. I stayed at @hasbrouckhouseny which was just the loveliest and in a different part of the Hudson Valley than I’ve explored before. I went to bed early, had great food and cocktails, went on a 4.5 mile hike and came home feeling a bit more at peace having escaped the hard realities of 2020 for a brief 48 hours.

A huge thank you to @mazdausa who loaned me a Mazda3 Hatchback Premium for the weekend - I had so much fun driving that car!

This is me. This is my skin. All 35 years of it with no foundation, no concealer, no tinted moisturizer. All 35 years of freckles and fine lines and smile lines and redness and wrinkles. No fillers. No filter.⁣

2020 has been a year that’s given me more wrinkles. More gray hair. More stress. More anxiety.⁣

But it’s also been a year of deep appreciation for being able to live my life and to age.⁣

I’ll admit that I mind those new wrinkles courtesy of 2020 less than I thought I did but since I also don’t want them to get *too* comfortable, I’m honored to be partnering with @loccitaneusa for the first time to share my experience of using their newly relaunched Immortelle Divine line for the past month.⁣

This Fall looks and feels a bit different but we can celebrate all the cozy goodness that comes with it - and with that spirit in mind - I put pen to paper to come up with loads of ideas for a great, safe Fall 🍂🍁🎃 Will you join me in ticking through the list?!

And because every Fall has good clothes, I partnered with @anntaylor to style two looks from their newest collection! Do not sleep on these suede elastic waist (!!!) pants! So comfy I kept them on all day after my shoot. And the ribbed black blazer?! A new favorite. I’m always grateful for Ann Taylor working with me on the ideas I have for these posts and can’t wait for you to see their *very* good new arrivals in the post!
